Bar solder
Bar solder triangular approx. 400 mm long according to DIN EN 29453 in 2 alloys. 40 % or 60 % tin content, rest lead. Weight depending on lead content between 200 and 250 grams.
Solder rods with 60 % tin content are used for soldering seams on tin pipes. The melting point is between 183 - 190 ° C.
Soldering rods with 40% tin content are used for soldering seams on zinc pipes. The melting point is higher up to 235 ° C.
