Drill holder for punching tool
For larger punching inserts or corresponding material, the use in a slow-running pillar drill is a sensible processing variant in contrast to knocking out. The application is then more cutting. This processing variant is particularly recommended for soft, resilient materials such as rubber etc.
The speed of the pillar drill must be adapted to the material.
The photo above shows the drill holder for the sets up to 50, 59 or 60 mm and the drill holder for the punch sets up to 30 mm with simultaneous mounting of the punching dies. For the large sets, the drill holder is screwed into the separate punch holder plate instead of the punch handle. Both holders have a cylindrical drill chuck holder with a diameter of 13 mm.
The photo from practice shows the use of the holder for sets up to 30 mm. Please take this into account when ordering.
Please also note our punching pad for optimum clean punching of even thin materials.
